It’s hard to stay grounded, faithful (and if I’m being honest) sane during these crazy times. A worldwide pandemic, race riots, cancel culture, political infighting… it’s enough to make you look up at the heavens and ask, “What are you doing, God?”

But we know what He’s doing. It’s what He’s always been doing…ruling over the kingdoms of the nations and drawing his people to himself.

O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.

2 Chronicles 20:6

To help you remember this theological truth and others throughout the week, here are 7 binge-worthy reformed podcasts. Enjoy!

1. Renewing Your Mind

Hosted by the late R.C Sproul, Renewing Your Mind aims to do just that…renew minds by taking listeners on a deep dive into God’s word. Sproul tackles every doctrinal truth imaginable while also giving air time to guest speakers like Rosario Butterfield (former lesbian who converted to Christianity after trying to refute the claims found in the Bible) and well-known theologians like Steven Lawson and Sinclair Ferguson. Listen HERE or on your favorite app.

2. The White Horse Inn

Our mission is to help Christians know what they believe and why they believe it through conversational theology.” That’s how the host, Dr. Michael Horton describes this podcast and it fulfills that mission. Dr. Horton tackles everything from presuppositional apologetics to the Coronavirus, and features a panel of some of the brightest Christians minds of our day. You’ll enjoy the conversational (yet organized) tone as well as how Dr. Horton breaks down complex doctrine. Listen HERE or on your favorite app.

3. Sheologians

Created for women by women, don’t expect to find sappy, rose-tinted topics on this podcast. Hosts Summer White and Joy Temby don’t hold any punches when it comes to theology. Listen to them dismantle the myth of feminism in their 4 part series titled “Feminism is Posion” or their warning against becoming a Bitter Betty. Witty, inciteful, and rich in theological truths, Sheologians is a breath of fresh air for women who are tired of being spoon-fed mushy, progressive ideology masked as Christianity from the so-called female Christian leaders of today. Listen HERE or on your favorite app.

4. Simply put

Have you ever been in a sermon or at a Bible study and heard a theological term that left you scratching your head? I know I have and there’s nothing more frustrating than being ignorant to theological concepts everyone else seems to grasp. Well, the Simply Put podcast breaks down tough theological terms in 5-6 minute episodes. Binge this podcast to quickly and easily “expand your understanding and deepen your faith, one word at a time.” Listen HERE or on your favorite podcast app.

5. Apologia Radio

Hosted by Pastor Jeff Durbin, Apologia is a web show and podcast that applies a Biblical worldview to politics and current events. Often times satirical and always witty, there is no topic too controversial for Jeff Durbin and his many guest speakers to tackle. If you want a good laugh while also strengthening your faith and learning ways to address the secular world, binge-listen to Apologia HERE or on YouTube.

6. Wretched Radio

Like Apologia Radio, Wretched Radio brings a Biblical perspective to our current culture. Hosted by the fiery and witty Todd Friel, listeners will hear everything from how not to be a toxic parent to how to be a Christian in a cancel culture. It’s also not uncommon to hear Friel call out false teachers like Steven Furtick, Joel Olsteen, Paula White, and others BY NAME. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll be encouraged to live your faith boldly and share the gospel without fear. Listen to Wretched Radio HERE or watch it HERE.

7. The Dividing Line

Hosted by Christian Apologist James White, you’ll hear episodes on a broad range of theological and apologetic topics with a particular focus on homosexuality and Islam. Like some of the other podcasts on this list, White also addresses our culture through a Biblical lens and mercilessly dismantles popular, secular notions about race, gender, religion and more. Check out his webcast HERE.

There you have it! 7 podcasts to help set your mind on the things of Christ. So, be well, be fed, and in the words of Todd Friel, go serve your king!

Until next time, salutations and selah.
